Star Track wins big at Shore Leave Conference!

Golden Media is proud to announce that we are the recipients for the 2007 Fanny Award for Best Star Trek Fan Film.
The Fanny Awards were held at the 29th Annual Shore Leave Convention. Shore leave is one of the biggest Fan Run Conferences in North America.
We're extremely honored to win this award and it shows that all of our hard work is finally paying off!
Congratulations to all the actors and crew involved in Star Track! This is just the beginning!

It's A Warp...err...Wrap!

You've read right! After nearly 3 months of shooting, we have officially wrapped up principle photography for the long anticipated pilot episode of "Star Track: Idomo". Currently entitled "Misfortune", the episode will see the brand new Idomo launch from spacedock on a mission to save a race that has gone extinct due to a mysterious rift in space.
We're estimating a mid August release. Be sure to check back regularly for updates and a possible teaser trailer.

New set nearly constructed...bang bang bang

Well, our final set piece is nearly complete. We've been hard at work on our engineering set for the past couple of days. Unfortunately, we woke up my poor neighbours last night at midnight with the serenading sound of hammers banging. We'll wrap up filming for Star Track 20 on Sunday! Thats right, we're almost there! Star Track Idomo

What is "Star Track: Idomo"? Star Track: Idomo is a new take on an old franchise. Its predecessor; "Star Track: The Next Hesitation" produced from 2001-2007 saw 20 episodes and 3 short films. The producers of TNH decided to revamp the long running series with a name change. In episode 20 of TNH, the USS Idomo was destroyed, and this opened the possibility of introducing a new ship; the USS Idomo-A. (pictured below)

Star Track: Idomo promises to follow the same formula of The Next Hesitation with minor changes to sets and characters.
Why Star Track: Idomo? Tired with what the television had to offer, the creators of "Star Track" decided to take matters into their own hands, but with a twist. Instead of producing a fan film that copied the settings and characters of previous Star Trek episodes, it was decided that a comical spin be put on the series. The first episode of Star Track was entirely accidental. The subsequent episodes that followed upped the production value and the acting somewhat improved over time. It should be noted that every episode has been written, directed and edited by Christian Fauteux, the co-founder of Star Track and Golden Media. More information will be added soon. Expect an early summer release for this highly anticipated episode!
